Who can apply?
Cross-sectoral Teams led by and SME and composed by:
- At least 2 legal SMEs, additional SMEs or other legal entities can also join the team
- At least 2 countries in the consortium
- One of the team members must come from Aerospace or Energy sectors (ideally an SME)
- All members have to be based in an EU member state or H2020 associated

How to apply?
1. Get Registered
Complete your registration online to access the private website. Create a user profile for your SME and a project profile if you want to find partners.
2. Team Up
Network, attend our Team Building Events or use our matchmaking toolRegister here
3. Submit your Proposal
Submit your Proposal through the C4H private website before may 16th 2018 at 17:00 CET. Do not forget to provide all the necessary documents.Download Guide App
4. Wait for the results
Once your proposal is submitted and validated a confirmation email will be sent to acknowledge the application acceptance.
CROSS4HEALTH Open Call Challenges
The first CROSS4HEALTH Open Call seeks proposals to address at least one of the following proposed challenges:
Provide safe remote care
The challenge is to help patients to undertake shared management of chronic diseases in order to remain independent and active in their communities using connected care solutions along the continuum of care.
Optimised care environment of hospitals and other care institutions
This challenge is looking for solutions for more efficient care environments that support an approach to care that is predictive, preventative, personalised and participatory.
Faster process from sample to result
The challenge is looking into solutions allowing for faster, more affordable, less invasive and more reliable sampling, testing and diagnosis.
In order to maximise the utility of aerospace, energy and ICT innovations for use in personalised care, a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 5 is recommended in order to develop relevant solutions in the call.
Your business model should show how you plan to scale-up your solution to ensure market readiness in your key market(s) and the maturity and the management capacity of the team to achieve this.

Why should you apply?
Compete to get involved in the 1st C4H Acceleration Programme.
Up to 10 projects (20 SMEs) will be selected to obtain support worth in 60,000€ per SME in combination of direct cash funding and innovation services.
Up to 25,000€ in direct cash funding per SME
Up to 30,000€ in Innovation Services
The Acceleration Programme is a 9 months non-residential period. A Fast lane acceleration programme is available (see Guide for Applicants).
The Open Call evaluation process is structured as follows:
1. Eligibility Check
First review to check the project meets all the eligibility criteria. Performed by an Evaluation Committee, composed by Consortium Partners.
2. External Experts Evaluation
Each proposal will be remotely evaluated by two independent external evaluators in a cross-national system and based on given Evaluation criteria that can be checked on the Guide for Applicants.
3. Cross4Health Evaluation Committee
Oversight and validation of the evaluation process, check there is no conflict of interest, fraud, double funding, or any partner exceeding the 60.000€ threshold.
